Youth Quest has successfully assembled a Board of Directors’ for Youth Quest; a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization that provides mental health treatment services to at-risk youth and their families!
In regards to life stages of non-profit boards, Youth Quest, in 2011, is in transition from an organizing board (1998-2009) to a governing board (2009-2011). With the help of dedicated volunteers like you, our goal is to be a fully governing board by the close of 2011.
Youth Quest is seeking qualified board member candidates for specific committees to help us achieve the task of transforming into a fully governing board by 2012.
Our 2012 Board Goals 1 - That all board members accept responsibility for "traditional" board tasks. 2 - The board is enlarged and diversified in 2011. 3 - Committee structure in process now in 2011 is well organized and smooth functioning by 2012. 4 - Board members gain new responsibilities and decision-making power as each board member learns about Youth Quest's mission and discovers where they can be the most impacting as members of the board in helping carry out this mission.
2 - Youth Quest achieved national accreditation with the Council on Accreditation in July of 2010. This is an outstanding accomplishment which needs outstanding and committed board members to serve from 2010-2014 to help Youth Quest achieve re-accreditation in 4 years.
