To All Interested in Placing a Child with Youth Quest,

Youth Quest will celebrate our 12th anniversary July 1, 2010!  We've dedicated the past decade to providing safe, high
quality, evidence-based residential treatment and therapeutic foster care for youth.  Youth Quest has a unique Level II
Family-Style Residential Treatment home.  This unique, highly structured yet nurturing environment has fostered life-long
social, academic, and family/independent living skills for the scores of youth who have had the privilege of living in this
fine home.  While living in this home can be challenging at times, many youth have returned to express gratitude for the
skills and relationships formed while in treatment at the Quest.

Our TFS Program or Therapeutic Family Services Program is a program with a proud beginning. With the desire to
effectively serve just one youth by offering a Teaching Family Model Level II foster home, and finding none in the area,
we've opened up this program in 2003.  Many youth have formed strong mentor and therapeutic relationships with their
therapeutic family teacher providers.  With the recent state changes proposed in 2009, the TFT Program will transition
with other therapeutic foster care (TFC) agencies to become a TFS provider which stands for Therapeutic Family
Services.  Youth Quest will be uniquely qualified to be able to offer this as well as the Pathways Intensive In-Home
program for youth who need TFS services but are in danger of not being able to maintain the placement.

Our goal is to offer nothing short of the best residential placements and intensive in-home enhanced benefit services in
North Carolina.

Please let us know when we're accomplishing our goal, as well as if we ever fall short of this expectation?
Your feedback is always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Emily K. Schofield
